This Cookie Policy explains how My Profile Pilot, a software product of My Barista Trainer, uses cookies and similar technologies on myprofilepilot.com, in the web app and in the WordPress plugin.
Summary
We do not use advertising, analytics-tracking or cross-site cookies. We only use storage that is strictly necessary for the features you choose to use, so no cookie consent banner is required for our own pages.
What we use
- Browser localStorage and IndexedDB (web app only).
mpp:*keys store your demo/live mode choice, dashboard settings, drip queue and a sealed (encrypted) Google token on your own device. Photos waiting in your drip queue are stored in IndexedDB. Nothing here is sent to us except when you perform an action. Clear it anytime by clicking “Disconnect” and clearing site data for myprofilepilot.com. - sessionStorage
mpp:oauth-state. A random value that protects the Google sign-in round trip from forgery. It is deleted when you close the tab. - WordPress cookies (plugin). The plugin adds no cookies of its own. WordPress’s standard login cookies are used to authenticate you in WP-Admin.
- Embed script.
embed.jssets no cookies and stores nothing on your visitors’ devices.
Third parties
- Google sets its own cookies on accounts.google.com when you choose “Sign in with Google”. See Google’s cookie policy.
- Stripe sets strictly necessary cookies on its checkout and billing pages for fraud prevention. See Stripe’s cookie policy.
- Our pages load styling from the Tailwind CSS CDN; it does not set cookies.
Managing storage
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking localStorage will prevent the web app from remembering your settings between visits.
